Diego A. Sepúlveda

(he/him)

I was born in Medellín, Colombia, and came to the United States in 2000 with my parents and brother in search of better opportunities. I spent most of my adolescence and young adulthood in the New Jersey/New York area. I graduated from Seton Hall University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. After completing my degree, I decided to attend medical school in Medellín, Colombia—a truly enriching experience. Most of my clinical rotations took place at Hospital General de Medellín, the very hospital where I was born and where I helped deliver newborns. I was, in a sense, a midwife.

I began specializing in internal medicine at Jersey City Medical Center in New Jersey. However, I did not complete residency, as I chose to change careers. I am now a transformational life coach, certified by Karen Hoyos International and San Ignacio University, both headquartered in Miami. I am service-oriented and passionate about helping others, believing that we uplift ourselves when we uplift others. My coaching focuses on helping individuals discover their true selves beyond the incessantly chattering mind.

I enjoy spending time in nature and exploring hiking trails. I was drawn to Utah by close friends and its beautiful mountains. I frequently travel back to NJ/NY to spend time with my nephews—Lucas, Julian, and Noah. I’m also a soccer enthusiast and never miss the World Cup every four years.
