Anxiety Speaks

While enclosed between the walls of this building, I am lost.

My mind wanders without me noticing it and As I sit in every classroom maladaptively daydreaming while waiting for class to get started, sitting in a temporary state of bliss admiring whatever my quiet mind has to offer one much like that of a dream.

Then as class starts, gradually, over time this state dissipates The more questions asked Eventually I notice that my heart is beating, now that won’t go away.

Every time I get closer to opening my mouth, the faster and more frightening the beats become. I restrain from speaking because the rules, regulations and expectations that are brought down by this very building, just isn’t b
